This blog is about Uruguayan participation at the 53th Venice Art Biennale. Uruguay has a permanent pavilion at the Giardini. This year Uruguay will be represented by artists Raquel Bessio, Juan Burgos and Pablo Uribe. Uruguayan commissionner for the Biennale is Patricia Bentancur, and curator Alfredo Torres.

Gustavo Tabares is the exhibit coordinator.

Roberto Olalde is in charge of the media and international relations.

    Hello,
    I’m an art critic for French magazine 02 covering the Venice Bienniale.
    I’m interested in getting as much information as you can provide on Urugayan participation.
    Also, I’ll be in Venice from June 3 until 7. Please don’t hesitate to let me know about press points or events you’ll organise.
